Janice Uy is arguably the most popular teacher among our aspiring young singers. No wonder, because Janice loves teaching kids! For this she has developed an effective and revolutionary approach.

Janice attended the University of Immaculate Conception School of Music and started singing professionally at the age of 15. She played for several years with Mike Ayala’s 7th Heaven band. She was a monthly finalist for ABS-CBN’s Star in a Million and a top 20 Female finalist (out of over 300 contestants) for ABC5’s Philippine Idol.

Janice’s major influence is Jazz music . She combines phrasing and technique of simple jazz singing with Pop and Rnb genres, creating a unique style which many have admired.

Janice is very keen on developing the students own style by listening to and practicing different forms of music.
